The Beckly Centre is a registered charity that provides a range of affordable and accessible leisure time play, social and recreational activities and opportunities for children and young people with disability.  The Centre provides term time evening and weekend clubs, short residential breaks and outings and day time playscheme sessions during all school holidays together with longer residential breaks away from Plymouth.  Follow the link above for more information via the Beckly Centre website.

Sessions are open to all children and young people in the Plymouth area with extra specific or special needs and provide centre based arts crafts music play (bouncy castle soft play) games bikes trikes videos TV computer / Internet offering social and play opportunities. There are also trips for bowling cinema and swimming. Where spaces available these are open to siblings, friends and family members

Groups are divided by ability / age (min 4.5 years to young adult)/ development
stage. Wheelchair facilities available including hoist.  A wide range of disabilities can be catered for both physical and learning disability excluding nursing needs.

Limited transport service available by minibus with tail lift conversion.

The centre is located in the Radford building at Mayers Way, Plymstock. This is a converted barn with two separate play areas with a dedicated area for the soft play and bouncy castle equipment. There is an outside hardstand area for bikes and trikes and a small garden area.
