Twenty years after it was first launched A Parents Guide to Plymouth has been completely updated for today's parents with children of all ages living in, or visiting Plymouth.  It provides comprehensive details of facilities and activities in and around Plymouth, grouped under four main headings:

  • Where to buy or borrow children’s things

  • Ideas for Family Outings

  • Education, Day Care and Leisure

  • Family support organisations including health and welfare

Contains much information that is not available on the website, including 5 pages of family friendly eating places, including the hours during which they serve food, facilities, whether or not they are non-smoking.

"This wonderful, practical resource is invaluable to local families and is just the kind of community initiative that really makes a difference."

Wendy Bray, Evening Herald
