Breastfeeding facilities in Plymouth city centre

Over the last few years a number of stores have improved their facilities for mothers wishing to feed their babies, although much more could be done.  There follows a list of those places where customers can be accommodated, and I would ask that people making use of these facilities please treat them with respect to ensure the continuation of such help as is offered.  Provision of customer toilets and babychange facilities is also included.  Often now a parent room is available, to enable dads to find somewhere suitable for nappy changing.

 A Cornish-based website, realbabymilk.org,  is working with the Plymouth Latch On breastfeeding groups to award certificates to those businesses in the city that encourage breastfeeding.

Early Learning Centre:  11 Cornwall Street, Plymouth.  Tel: (01752) 671206.  Parent and baby room for breast feeding and nappy changing.  House of Fraser (formerly Dingles):  40 Royal Parade, Plymouth.  Tel: (01752) 266611.  Parent and baby room on the fifth floor; also customer toilets.  Customer lift. Mothercare:  Drake Circus Shopping Centre, Plymouth.  Tel: (07152) 661423.  Parent and baby facilities available. Plymouth Railway Station:  Saltash Road, Plymouth.  Baby changing room next door to the ladies' toilets on platform 2, which is available to mums and dads. Toys R Us:  Western Approach, Plymouth.  Tel: (01752) 226161.  Customer toilets (male and female) with baby change facilities.  To use the facility ask customer service staff for a key.
