You can help your children to grow up with a respect for the countryside by ensuring that they understand and adhere to the following Countryside Code, updated 2004.  For further information about the Code and access to the countryside go to www.countrysideaccess.gov.uk

	Be safe - plan ahead and follow any signs
	Leave gates and property as you find them
	Keep dogs under close control
	Protect plans and animals
	Take your litter home
	Consider other people
