A few of the principal city parks are listed below, but within the Plymouth city boundary there are many designated parks all of which are listed on the Plymouth City Council website which also gives full details of the facilities such as skate board park, mini-golf, football area, nature area, tennis courts, basketball hoops, toilets, dog bins, if seating is provided, panoramic views etc.

There is also a full list of children's playgrounds including which have safety surfaces and dog proof fencing and the ages catered for in each area.

Central Park, Milehouse/Peverell - the largest park in Plymouth and now with an exciting new play area on the theme of 7 continents with a range of wet and dry facilities, suitable for children with disabilities.
The youth park includes Skate Board facilities.
