Young photographers are being invited to capture images of
Plymouth's foreshore for future generations as part of a competition
launched by the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office in partnership
with Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery.
The 'Plymouth Pictured' photography competition is open to anyone
aged 25 and under and the top three entries will each win a digital
camera.
"We're looking for anyone who enjoys photography and feels
inspired by the foreshore to submit their images," said Tony Davey,
Community Engagement Officer at the record office. "If any young
person out there feels they can capture good images that reflect how
they feel about our unique coastline, what they do on it and what it
means to them we urge them to get snapping!"
To enter the competition all people need to do is upload their
images to the
Plymouth
Pictured 'Flickr' page before Sunday 25 June.
