Plymouth City Centre is a family friendly place to visit, shop and have fun. The child safe shopping scheme helps families, schools, clubs and most importantly children. The
Child Safe scheme is designed to help parents or guardians who lose sight of their children, children who have got lost or needs help, someone who finds a lost child, etc.

There are a number of shops in the City Centre whose children’s departments are not situated on the ground floor. In most cases there is a customer lift but where there is not, always ask the staff to help with prams/pushchairs – either by allowing you to use the staff lift or by assisting you up and down the stairs. They would rather do this than see people risking an accident on the stairs.
