The City has many sports clubs and facilities.  The  major  and purpose-built  centres are listed below, but so many sports clubs exist in the city  that  it  is  impractical  to  list  all  of  them.  Parents are recommended  to contact Plymouth City Council for specific details  of  sports in which  they  are interested, as they  keep a contact list of representatives from all sports in the city from angling to yachting, badminton to rugby, boxing to horse-riding, etc.  Tel:  (01752) 307008.  Check out the sports activities section of the City Council website.
