Air Training Corps - Plymouth & Cornwall:  Officer Commanding, Plymouth & Cornwall Wing ATC, RAF St Mawgan, Newquay, Cornwall.  Tel:   (01637) 857638.  There are 27 locations in Plymouth, West Devon and Cornwall covering: flying, shooting, adventure training, sport, Duke of Edinburgh Award, gliding, visits to RAF stations, summer camps home and abroad.  Open to boys and girls between 13 and 18 years of age.

Guides:  There are two Divisional Commissioners in Plymouth.   For Plymouth East contact Mrs Tessa Ricketts on (01752) 664952; for Plymouth West contact Mrs Brenda Rendle on (01752) 703355.  Rainbows:   5 - 7 years, Brownies:  7 - 10 years, Guides:  10 - 14/15 years, Senior Section:  15 years up.

St John Ambulance:  2 Bedford Terrace, North Hill, Plymouth.    Tel:  (01752) 665802.  Junior youth groups - 6 to 11 years and 10 to 18 years.  The groups' activities include first aid, home nursing, home safety, nursing, infant and child care among other things.  There are groups at Crownhill, Plymstock, North Hill, St Budeaux, Leigham, Widewell, Lee Moor.  www.sja.org.uk

Sea Cadets:    TS Golden Hind.  Tel:  (01752) 555365.  Juniors - 10 to 12 years;   Cadets - 12 to 18 years; Marine Cadets - 13.5 to 18 years.
